Sad
News
QMA Members,
It is with great sadness I report to you, QMA has lost a great friend and a pioneer in quarter midget racing.
Mr. James Paniagua (better known as Mr. Penny) has passed away this morning (12/29/2007) in his home in Rio Linda, California.
He was inducted into the hall of fame this past summer and has been a very important part of Quarter midget racing for well over 50 years not only in the Sacramento area but for the sport nation wide. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will be around for years to come.
God speed Mr. Penny, our prayers and thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.
Services are pending for next Saturday (1/5/2008).
Charlie Cagle
QMA President
